cubicle wall? People at my work put a tack/push pin and use the hook at the top to hang them.

Our cubicles are about 10 inches high over the desk height. The poster in this shot is only missing the top 3 inches or so and is at the top of the cube. There's not a lot of space to play with, or else I'd have already done exactly what you propose.

I'm not a LOTR guy so i'd ditch the poster to put up the cars (yes I'm aware it's autographed lol)

Put tape on the underside of the bubble and put them on top of your monitor

It's also not a Lord of the Rings poster. It's a Magnus Racing Lord of the Rolex poster from the 2013 24 hours of Daytona. It's going nowhere till I get this year's race poster sent to me.

A gift from a co-worker. Quite possibly one of the most thoughtful gifts I have ever received, actually.

Open package put on top of stuff, occasionally "drive" them across the desk.

I make Car Parts. I can call it research. Where I used to be they had a Homermobile model and a Ford GT in Lego. You could see them across the office like beacons. I used them to give directions.

If you are in a cubicle you may be able to hide them like mine. On top of the peg-board stuff. I have the cabinets over top so they are hidden by anyone who walks by but I can see them at all times!

Alas our cube walls are very short and open. For "Collaboration" (read that as it's cheaper than real cubes). Also, petty theft is something that is a bit of a concern to me, which is why I don't want to take them out of the packaging.

Hmm. Well maybe find a clear display case at hobby lobby or something to display them after you open them out.
